Tuesday

Tots: This class is designed to introduce tumbling positions, drills, and movements such as tuck, straddle, bridge, handstand, forward roll, cartwheel, round off, and back kickovers along with some strengthening and flexibility. Parents may be asked to stay in the room during the tot session.

Level 1 & 2

Based on Skill

6:00pm – 7:00 pm

Level 1: This class is designed for beginning tumblers. An introduction to tumbling positions, drills, and movements such as tuck, straddle, bridge, handstand, forward roll, cartwheel, round off, front handspring, back handspring, along with some strengthening and flexibility. A student will begin to develop a basic comprehension of back walkers, and front limbers. Proper Form and technique are stressed.

Level 2: Students must be able to perform a cartwheel/roundoff with good form as a prerequisite to this class. This class is designed to help the student further develop and achieve their back walkovers and front limbers. Continuing to build on their skills and starting to develop a basic comprehension of a standing back handspring.

Level 3 & 4

Based on Skill

7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Level 3/4: The prerequisites for this class is a backbend kickover and a front limber on their own with good form. This class is designed to help the student further develop and achieve their standing and round off back handsprings. Positions and various drills are used to develop body awareness, strength, and proper tumbling form. This class also focuses on learning how to jump and set high, use proper tuck form, to perform a standing round off back handspring tucks when the instructor says you are ready for that skill
