The
Tots class is a child and parent class where the parent is in
the water with the child for the entire length of the class.
The Tadpole
class is a child and parent class where the parent will begin the
class in the water. One main goal of this class will be for
the child to be comfortable enough in the water with an instructor
to stand on a platform with their parent on the side of the pool.
This class is recommended for children who have completed the Tots
class and are tall enough to stand on a platform, but are not
comfortable being in the water without a parent.
Level
1 lessons are available for children ages 4 and older who are
comfortable being in the water without a parent even if they cannot
yet stand on the bottom of the pool. A platform is available
for children to stand on. Children MUST be comfortable being
in the water without a parent present to participate in this class.
Classes are
structured for 45 minutes of instruction and 5 minutes of free play.
Tots and Tadpoles classes are 30 minutes in length.

for the sake of registration, please contact the Park District Office.

Swim Lessons:
If
you have always wanted to swim but never learned, now is your chance! This class will teach
you the basic fundamentals of swimming.
Registration deadline is May 30, 2012.

also schedule private swim lessons. Please contact the Lesson
