REQUIREMENTS for open swim: POLICY FOR ENTERING AND EXITING THE POOL Patrons that wish to exit the pool during open swim times must obtain permission from pool staff prior to exiting the pool facility, if they wish to re-enter the pool. The District has painted a red line at the exit of the facility. Patrons that cross this line are considered to have exited the facility. Once a patron exits the facility without permission they may not re-enter unless a parent or guardian accompanies them, and they must stay with them at the facility. Patrons returning with parent or guardian that possess a pool pass will be able to enter on their pass. Patrons not possessing a pass will be required to pay the entry fee. DISCIPLINARY
POLICY Anyone
asked to leave the Kingsbury Park District Pool due to a disciplinary
problem will also be asked to leave the property surrounding the Pool.
This includes but not limited to the playground, parking lot,
soccer fields, shelter, and sand volleyball court.
If a person does not leave after one warning the Greenville Police
will be called. NO WEAPON POLICY No weapons (guns, knives, etc.) allowed on park district property. If a weapon is on site, the police will be called to handle the matter. The person possessing the weapon will be immediately banned from the pool and surrounding area for the remainder of the season. PLEASE
LOCK YOUR BIKES The Park District wants to remind all parents whose children ride their bikes to the pool to give them a lock. The Pool has provided two bike racks for your convenience. This year we, for safety reasons, will require all bikes to be in the rack at all times whether they are locked or unlocked. We had several bikes disappear last year and we don’t want your child’s to be next. REGISTRATION
FOR POOL ACTIVITIES All pool activities can be registered for at the Kingsbury Park District Office until the Pool Opens. Please use the regular activity registration form. Swim Lessons
Tadpole classes will have a parent in the water, but with a more hands off approach. Children will be able to stand on a platform. If you think your child would be comfortable standing on a platform without you in the water consider signing them up for a level 1 class. Platforms can be used in level 1 as well as Tadpole. Classes are structured for 45 minutes of instruction and 5 minutes of free play. Tots and Tadpoles are 30 minutes in length and a parent or adult must accompany the child in the water. If you would like an instructor to assess your child to see which level they should be signed up for, please contact the Park District Office.
