PATRIOT'S PARK Come and enjoy the splendor of beautiful Patriot's Park.  Fishing, hiking, picnics, recreation, and of course, fireworks on the 4th of July!

Patriot’s Park Boat Permits 

Boat permits are needed to launch a boat on Patriot’s Park Lake.  Permits are valid for the calendar year and can be purchased at the Park District Office at 114 N. Second Street.  For more information call 618-664-4969.  The lake is a trolling motor only lake.  For Site Specific Fishing Regulations, search the IDNR guide for "Greenville Old City Lake."

Trout Fishing at Patriot’s Park 

Trout season will start on the 3^rd Saturday in October.  No trout may be taken out of the lake until the legal opening date, which is at 5:00 a.m. on October 15, 2011.  The park's normal opening hours are 6:00 a.m. to dusk.  To participate, anglers must have a fishing license and an inland trout stamp, unless they are under 16 years of age, blind or disabled, or an Illinois resident on leave from the Armed Forces.  The catch limit for each angler is five trout per day.  For more information contact the IDNR Division of Fisheries at 217-782-6424.
