DOG OBEDIENCE
CS#620
Presented by Jay Wade of Rude Beaver Gun Dogs
Jay Wade is a hands on, down to earth trainer with 20 years of experience training dogs. He has learned different techniques from many people over the years. Jay believes basic obedience and a building block approach is the ground floor for all great dogs to reach their potential. All dogs progress at different rates and some show more potential than others. Knowing the "when" and "how" is the key to bringing out the most in a dog.
Jay is a member of Illinois Region NSTRA (National Shoot to Retrieve Association), NAVHDA (North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association), HRC (Hunting Retriever Club), Retrievers Unlimited, German Shorthaired Pointer Club of Illinois, Spoon River NAVHDA. Participating in HRC, AKC & NAVHDA Hunt Tests and NSTRA Field Trials forms a well rounded understanding and familiarity of the Gun Dog. Whether you want a competition dog or a fine hunting companion, all the principles taught will apply.
